Creating an urban boho chic jewelry can be a lot of fun!
Here you can see how with the help of metal chains, beads and charms you can take any simple and basic jewelry base if it is a bracelet, necklaces an earring or any other element you want to work with and make it look so wonderfully designed. The point
is to make a look which shows different elements, metallic colors, and that moves whenever worn.
Take a look at some great looking examples:
Bangle bracelet:
A simple bracelet base such as this metal bangle with just two crystals at the end can be such a great base for this kind of work. This very classic and plain bracelet with a bit of work can be made into a really wonderful piece of jewelry. The large loops come from a metal chain, and they give a nice metal volume, but is also used as a divider between the hanging chains you see.
Cup chain bracelet:
Each cup chain has a bit of space between each setting, that metal bar in-between is a great thing to use for hanging elements, or as you see in this bracelet, I connected small parts of a round loops, chain, and use it to hang large metal charms, this way you can give the charms bracelet a new look.
Bracelet centerpiece:
When you have a small centerpiece for bracelet with loops on the sides you can connect different kinds of chains, and to make it really look urban style you can connect a bunch of charms all over the bracelet that will me dangling all the time.
Cup chain bangle:
This bangle base with soldered 39ss cup chain in the middle is also a great base that has many places you can hang things from. Here I made an asymmetric dropping silver chain connected to the base of the bangle and more chains with beads hanging from the metal bar between the cup chain settings.
Charm necklace:
Here you can see how with the same elements you can also make a necklace, this one, for example, is made with small necklace centerpieces connected to a large 8mm jump ring in the middle that a lot of charms are hanging from.
Have fun creating!
