Gold Rose Mother's Day Set

Gold Rose Mother's Day Set

05/05/2015
Gold Rose Mother's Day Set

After creating this necklace, Making the bracelet and earrings will be easier and very mach a like.

To achieve a more interesting and colorful look I used shiny silver to get that classic feel together with rose gold plating that works very well with the red and pink colors of the stones.

Step 1: preparing your materials

Prepare your work environment. Organizing your tools and materials will help

you work faster and more efficient.

Cut two chains: one needs to be 43cm long.

The other one is 60cm long divided in half (30 cm + 30cm)

Step 2: Setting the stones

Place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the setting tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.

Bend the prongs gently to make sure you don't damage the stone or crack the plating in this process.

Also set the small flower with the 29ss stone into the 47ss stone settings with one top loop.

Step 3: connecting the chains to the clasp

Use plier tool to open 5 mm jump rings and connect both chain ends to the parts of the T clasp.

The longer chain needs to be the external one.

Step 4: hanging the small pendent

find the exact center link in the shorter chain and cut it open with the help of the cutting tool.

Open the link and insert the small loop of the rose gold flower with 29ss stone, and then close the link.

This chain is strong and will not open easily.

Step 5: hanging the one 39ss stone

choose one side of the long chain, and open the chain with the help of the cutting tool 8cm from the lower part.

Hang the small 39ss setting stone with the two loops. Close the links of the chain with the help of the plier tool.

Step 6: placing the center piece

now you have one short chain with the small pendent hanging from it, and one longer open chain.

To close the long chain open 5mm jump ring with the plier tool and connect each end of the chain to the center piece.

Step 7: hanging the pendents

to have a nice and organized look to the pendents, they need to be in different height so they would fall in their place.

I used 1 jump ring for the diamond and crown, 3 for the love charm and 4 for the heart setting.

Well done. The necklace is ready!

Preparing the bracelet:

step 1: preparing your materials

you would need two parts of the rose gold chain, each one is 6cm long.

Step 2: connecting the bracelet

connect the clasp to the chains and the 29ss setting stones on other side of the big heart using the plier tool to open the links, and you have the base of the bracelet ready.

Step 3: setting the stones

Place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the setting tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.

Bend the prongs gently to make sure you don't damage the stone or crack the plating in this process.

To finish off the set, you just need to set the stones you choose to both earrings.

Enjoy your new beautiful Swarovski set.
