step 1: preparing your materials
Prepare your work environment. Organizing your tools and materials will help
you work faster and more efficient.
Cut the 2mm leather cord in to 40cm piece. You will need 6 cords in the same length, 3 on each side of the bracelet.
Also cut an extension chain of 5cm long.
Step 2: hanging the charms
The center 39ss cup chain has small loops on both sides, so the charms will be hanging on both sides.
Start by opening 5mm jump rings and hang the chams that have horizontal loops
For the charms with the vertical loops, just add another loop and then hang them with a second loop on the cup chain.
Step 3 : connecting the leather to the cup chain
In order to create the bracelet take 3 of the leather pieces and connect them at there center with 6mm jump ring on the loop at the end of the cup chain.
Do that on both sides.
Make sure the cords are folded in half and slide the two 8mm jump rings to hold all 6 ends of the leather.
Pull the 8mm jump rings all the way to the cup chain, until they can't move.
Step 4: closing the bracelet
To close the bracelet all end of the leather needs to be held by the metal end for 2mm cord.
Just put the metal ends on the leather edge and use the pleir tool to press it until it closes.
Open 5mm jump ring an connect between two metal ends, and close the jump rings using two pleir tools.
Now, hang all three 5mm jump rings on one 6mm jump ring.
On one side hang the clasp and on the other one hang the extension chain.
Step 5: setting the stones
Place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the setting tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.
Bend the prongs gently to make sure you don't damage the stone or crack the plating in this process.
To embed the small stones on the charms us E6000 glue and gently put them in place.
Well done!
The necklace is ready!
