The last year or two you can see that one of the most unique and loved trends in jewelry making is the asymmetric jewelry look, which makes the final result looking really special and beautifully designed.
There are many ways and styles you can make asymmetric jewelry pieces according to your liking, but here we would like to show you a very fun, colorful, free style kind of jewelry which are just perfectly made for summer!
Here you can see some new designs of necklaces and a pair of dramatic long earrings which are all made very colorfully, mixing different kinds of materials, elements and colors together.
Tips for creating:
1. In order to give you jewelry a nice volume and rich with texture, use a mix of different kind of materials, shapes, sizes and colors all combined together.
For these jewelry pieces we used, plastic and natural beads, small metal beads and other metal casting elements, opaque Swarovski crystals, glass stones, textured plastic cabochons, natural stone cabochons.
2. Creating a necklace of beads or a cup chain base with colorful elements, beads and SW crystals can be a great base just by its own, but when you add larger pendants, different charms, more beads or crystals on the sides it really makes it look even more stunning with that asymmetric look you get.
3. It takes some time to get the hang of it, when you are creating a necklace such as the one made with beads, you mix and match, and take the time to get to the right combination, proportion and look you are trying to make. Once you make the first one, it will be much easier to continue.
4. The asymmetric style works much matter when you use matt finish metal plating elements with opaque stones, crystals or beads. So try to keep the shiny and sparkly elements to the minimum, but still adding even two or three in one piece will give just the right touch of glam you need.
