Step 1 - Preparing your materials
Prepare your tools and materials for a fast and organized working process.
Cut the red leather cord to a 50cm piece.
Cut the small round loops chain to 40cm long piece.
Step 2 - preparing the cup chain
Use the cutting tool to cut the cup chain to any length you wish, in this tutorial we use a 40cm piece of 29ss cup chain.
Insert the finisher to the hole at the end of the cup chain with the help of the plier tool.
Use the plier to press the end of the finisher inside the cup chain so it will not slip out.
That's it! The cup chain is ready to be used.
Step 3 - Set the stones
Set all the 29ss stones in the cup chain.
Place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the setting tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.
Also set the 39ss stones and pear shap stones in there stone settings.
Connect with 5mm jump rings between the stone settings.
Step 4 - Combining the lather and cup chain together
Start by slipping one end of leather into the metal end and press it until it holds the leather tightly.
Hang the cup chain, leather and chain on one big 8mm jump ring.
Make a knot with the small chain and start twisting it around the leather and cup chain to hold theme closely together.
When reaching the end of the cup chain, cut off any extra leather and chain that is left.
Use a piece of sellotape to hold the chain together when you connect the other end of the necklace.
Connect the clasp and extension chain to close the necklace.
Step 5 : hanging the charms
Use 5mm jump rings and hang the charms on the chain.
Connect the chain with charms to the ends of the necklace.
